Today I tried what Geometry Script is in Unreal Engine 5. Cool features, but I won't use it for the game. Maybe only as tools for level design

I know it's weird... but it's indiedev. It so happened that the Erra: Exordium game for Nintendo will have two release dates. The game is already on sale today for the American region, for others on May 23

Admittedly I haven't played much of , and the geo-specific naming conventions make my head spin.

That said - "Monsters in the Dark" is a book that's high on my list to read this year.

It chronicles the legendary journey of Julian Gollop and the creation of X-COM.

Literally doesn't matter if the game is still "KILLERWINSLOL" 🤦‍♂️and that will always be true. It's supposed to be fun, but if the killer puts you on the hook and stands in your face, you're dead. That's it, game over.

In 1994, our puzzle game Clockwiser was released for Amiga (OCS and AGA), CD32 console, MS-DOS and Windows 3.1.

This is the 4-channel music our composer Ramon Braumuller made for a 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 that was included on magazine cover disks.

The tune is 109 kilobytes, including digitized instruments.

Lots of fun systems really coming together now in this prototype! plugin is now really clicking for me. Mobs are wandering, chasing, and aggroing.

Just added the ability for them to push rigidbodies too. The tank being one of them. Its a bit too much and the FPS is dropping, but I can't say I dislike it either!

Spiders wander until shot, then chase you! They break through a wall, and the tank flees but is flung through the air!

A genuinely valuable collectible is to be one of the first 10 reviews of an indie game on Steam (it's a special threshold for visibility).

Permanently time stamped, verified and on display on one of the largest websites on Earth.

Better than an NFT or steam achievement!

Imagine how fucking scary meeting Gordon Freeman must be in Half Life 1

Like every other scientist but you is a pacifist, then they see Gordon turn the corner, covered head to toe in 6 kinds of alien and human blood, high off his ass on morphine and adrenaline, carting like 5 different guns and 3 top secret government projects on his back.

And he leaves without saying a single word.

I am a game artist, among other things. There is a specific small game, over 10 years old, that I would like to make and sell my own version of, with new art and story but only minor changes to gameplay. So here are my questions:

    1. Is it feasible to hire someone to clone this game for me if I supply them with placeholder art and text that I could then replace with the final art and text as I develop it?

    2. Any idea what this would cost?
