What's a "walk in"? What's a "whip it"?

@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

Is that a news crew huddling at the foot of it?

Audacious also has a mode that looks like winamp. I think it even supports winamp skins.

It's still good now :)

And so the enshitification continues...

I knew that'd be the spin without even clicking the link.

I have friends who buy organic. I don't have the heart to tell them it's all marketing.

Can we have removable batteries again now?

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

Come to think of it, why do they even call this use case a VPN? I'd call that a proxy.

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

What the hell is this? Half way down the page it becomes a crypto advert...

Wasn't it already rebooted not so long ago?

Rabbit R1 is Just an Android App ( lemmy.world )

See, it turns out that the Rabbit R1 seems to run Android under the hood and the entire interface users interact with is powered by a single Android app. A tipster shared the Rabbit R1’s launcher APK with us, and with a bit of tinkering, we managed to install it on an Android phone, specifically a Pixel 6a....

Watched a review of this thing. Don't see the appeal. Especially don't see why it needs to be a separate bit of hardware.

That's where we put them.

Check out those spatulas though!

Where else would you put it?

British houses typically don't have a utility room. We don't really have the space.

Typical house you see on USA TV is massive by UK standards. A house like that here wouldn't be affordable to most folk.

It's all mind-melting in my experience

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

So I heard you like generic and predictable stories...

@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

I see a lot of this recently.

I wall of text about software whose purpose I have no idea.

Going to their homepage doesn't help much either. Looks like some kind of self hosted social network?

@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

I think its interesting from a historical perspective.

I imagine people will examine the code, find easter eggs, bugs, unknown features, amusing comments etc.

I look forward to seeing what is found.

We won’t rest until every washing machine has 2.5, 3.5, 4.4 and 6.35 jack sockets by default.

Can we also get mini xlr?

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

multi directory syncing with src and/or dest for each input directory

So this is like “normal”, “send only”, “recieve only” folders in syncthing?

Democracy could be said to work on trial an error too, just with human factors thrown into the mix?

Typo and all…

Yeah thanks, i know. Just saying, KDE is massive.

UK flooded with forged stamps despite using barcodes — to prevent just that ( www.bleepingcomputer.com )

If a stamp have a barcode, why not just let people who have printers at home to print it on the envelope directly? This eliminates the need to buy physical stamp, thus the probability of buying counterfeit stamps.

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

OP, you can do just that on the website or app.

vext01 ,
@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

I’ve printed a barcode and posted it normally and it arrived OK.

@vext01@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

Curiois.: Where are those kinds of fuses used?

In the UK. I’ve only ever seen those in cars.
