An increase in bad seeds on Bit Torrent?

So I've been grabbing a few shows I want to watch reruns of while playing Balatro that don't have good blu ray releases. My piracy is fairly limited these days so I don't bother with private trackers (do have a VPN though). In the past, I never really had an issue with grabbing a few one offs off the popular, maybe honeypot,...

Can we get one of these for the rest of North America?

can ,

In collusion with Sobeys, Rogers, and Bell

can ,

Careful, you don't want to cross into "final solution" territory.

can ,

You mean to tell me GTA being in the news made someone think of a funny pic featuring GTA?

can ,

I think this may be true for many things.

can ,

Maybe that's true, but is it really worth the risk?

can ,

That does make it sound a little better. At least then you were probably only risking harming yourself.

can ,

Really? They're kind a third of the price here.

can ,

I haven't been paying attention. What made a "golden upvote" significantly different than gold?

can ,

synthespian
noun, trademark in US

a computer-generated three-dimensional character, either in a wholly animated film or in one that is a mixture of live action and computer animation.

can ,

I'd like it more if it weren't a trademark.

can ,

Let us all recount our favourite synthespians from various companies then

can , (edited )

Hell yeah. Start chopping it yourself too!

Edit: and if this appeals to you but you don't know where to begin hit me up

can ,

Don't they have a point though? Your system is broken and the lesser of two evils is all you ever get to pick.

can ,

Now you're getting it

can ,

When it's targeted at a specific group of people and there's such a dramatic power imbalance, yes. Whether modern definitions agree or not.

can ,

All wars are targeted at a specific group of people.

Yes, my wording was vague. But say you went to war with Canada, a diverse nation. It would feel different if you broadly targeted all Canadians rather than specifically indigenous Canadians, or black Canadians, for example.

And putting this on the table now: I am Canadian and I recognise my country was built upon its own genocide.

Edit: Someone else feel free to chime in, I still don't feel I am conveying this well

can ,

It wouldn't be better but the circumstances would determine whether my mind would immediately jump to calling it that. I'm not necessarily quick to jump to claiming genocide but I won't readily denounce it.

BLAHAJ ZONE RULES

WE'RE THE BLAHAJ ZONE

THAT'S US

AND WE RUULLLEEE

I like it. I have too many subscriptions so I enable the bell for channels I don't want to miss and then I turn off all of the app's notifications. Then when I choose to open it I get them in my notification feed. I never check the subscriptions tab.

can ,

I did not know there was an actual grimace shake.

can ,

Oh I wonder if it hit the east coast yet.

can ,

If you find any with it let me know. Not hopeful for Sync.

can ,

Lemmy is not a monolith. Sign up somewhere else or make your own communities.

But you jumping to "comments are terrorism now" leads me to believe your experiences may not be so one sided.

can ,

It's not so cut and dry with Lemmy either. Admins can still view it (though not as easily).

can ,

I think maybe the bastards manipulating them are testing their limits.

can ,

I would be okay with it being opt-in on third-party clients as long as it was clearly apparent which comments were from a discussion on another community and perhaps going as far as not allowing interaction, or at least voting, without navigating to the comment on its native community.

can ,

So, in this scenario you're the hammer and everything looks like a nail?
