Kevin Roberts remembers when he could get a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink from Five Guys for $10. But that was years ago. When the Virginia high school teacher recently visited the fast-food chain, the food alone without a beverage cost double that amount....
Of course, because people here hate Asians, as I have been trying to point out. Luckily your racist friends like you. Now go dig a hole please, and drop your mom in it first. You motherfucking racist barbarian baboon brain.
Well, I just spent a good 5 minutes in Lemmy and encounter nothing but white trash. I am certainly gonna go outside again, but not of your command, wanna-be-master. I'm not your fucking slave.
Broken-English speaking Asians. I'm one of them. No go on and fuck your fat white bitch. The racist mods here will ban me soon for calling ya'll out. Ruud is a racist too. Fuck him and his Nazi gang.
It's not for nothing that Lemmy.World defederates from the non-racist instances. Ever thought about that?
When Bloomberg reported that Spotify would be upping the cost of its premium subscription from $9.99 to $10.99, and including 15 hours of audiobooks per month in the U.S., the change sounded like a win for songwriters and publishers. Higher subscription prices typically equate to a bump in U.S. mechanical royalties — but not...
That's great! Not sure where you live (because shipping), but a lot of artists (I listen to) have limited physical releases on Bandcamp. Sometimes it's worth the extra few bucks. My digital collection is bigger tho.
So I actually do spend more on musicians than only streaming services CEO people. There is of course the ecological aspect of the production of the physical releases, but I don't drive nor eat meat. I'd buy their stuff at a concert too.
That said, in my color green they won't need a visa, but they will get a 30-day visa exemption. If they want to stay longer they'll need to apply for a visa.
Then buy similar hardware from a competitor that meets your needs. I mean, Apple was never innovative, so you surely can get something better somewhere else?
The theory is simple: instead of buying a household item or a piece of clothing or some equipment you might use once or twice, you take it out and return it.
When I was a kid in the late 80s/early 90s, we had a toy-library across from our house. You could rent all kinds of toys for a week, extend if needed, and return it when the kids got bored with it. Good times.
They also had LEGO, and every piece had to be accounted for on return.
They went out of business when people started buying their own GameBoys and PlayStations.

Just yesterday I took the time to listen to Dr. Dooom - First Come, First Served. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. To see him randomly pop-up here made my evening!
Seen a lot of posts on Lemmy with vegan-adjacent sentiments but the comments are typically very critical of vegan ideas, even when they don't come from vegans themselves. Why is this topic in particular so polarising on the internet? Especially since unlike politics for example, it seems like people don't really get upset by it...
I just stated a fact. Not what I think nor what others should do. I do however think you underestimate how healthy vegetables are. I never said people should only eat rice and beans.
Now go and enjoy your flesh, because otherwise there won't be variety (that sounds really dumb btw).
Meat-eaters support a very harmful industry (both for the animals as well as the environment).
Nothing chill about that.
Edit: Thank you! Your downvote prevented another animal from being bred and killed within a couple of weeks after feasting on corn and body parts of its parents, meanwhile destroying the environment. Good job, buddy.
Poor you with your poor meat. Look at all the poor people feasting on turkey and salmon!
I grew up rich, so I only had beans and rice. Sometimes a carrot because it's prices like gold. My broccoli is a luxury as well. Marbled steak is for peasants.
I mean, do you even hear yourself? You make it sound like you're a victim of the meat industry. While enjoying them big chunks of muscle with some sauce because they taste like crap without!
