Well it depends on the definition. What I mean is that it's not about opinions, it's about facts

This statement is political

Yes. It's a screenshot of our template for the r/place. I included Ukraine because some people disliked it too

Mubelotix OP ,

Not official restrictions. I heard this from other students actually

I think I like hash-based probabilistic counting better, but this is interesting

Probably an AI expert too

Bitcoiners are old-school, serious people. They highly dislike such bullshit as they have seen the entire "crypto" shitshow, and the AI bullshit is similar in many ways

@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

I would say it was a big failure for mtgox. If you get today what your bitcoin was worth 15 years ago, I think you have reasons to be angry

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Well that guy who took over sure seemed to know his job

If the consequences are definitive, we are less likely to see this again.
If the consequences can be reverted, we are more likely to get out of these situations again.
Both methods work

I have been unable to launch it though

Fastvpn is almost 1$ a month if you are a new customer

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Same in France. It's legal to leech but illegal to seed. But it's easy for a beginner to get confused and seed without knowing, so we still do not advise torrenting to everyone

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Oh no it's not. I said it's illegal to seed but I should have said "it's illegal to seed pirated material"

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Not the bear market

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

I'm not trying to make a point tbh. It's one of those questions where there is no right answer due to many details not being said in the question

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

A colored flag means a sign giving a clue on something. It doesn't define a person, and can only be used to describe some abstract fact. You can say "getting angry when talking about the bear discourse" is a redflag, but saying "a man is a red flag" is not correct

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Just saying you didn't know how to use those words

Mubelotix OP ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Yes, and this whole story shows how far we are going. Society isn't doing well at all

Bots don't run themselves, they are run by humans. I have a lot of them myself

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

I had a friend whose instance was hacked only a few hours after the issue was disclosed. Bots had swarmed the internet in just a day

Mubelotix ,

We need forge federation. Nintendo would never be able to delete forks on thousands of different servers

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Yet nobody is going to discover your repo as nobody knows your server

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

It is correct to say last. In french we can say "dernier en date" meaning latest but we usually drop the last 2 words, and only "last" remains

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Maybe you might want to reconsider you server library choice in Rust

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Blazor and webassembly are different things. Webassembly is a runtime, blazor is a framework built for webassembly. They do not compare

Why is this downvoted? Forks are good, it shouldn’t even be a joke. As long as we keep network compatibility I’m all for it

is there a legal way to consume alcohol bought at a store, outside of a home, hotel room, etc.?

I’m thinking in the U.S. and Canada. For example, if you’re on vacation, you’ve checked out of your hotel room and have several hours until your flight, and you have some cans of beer left over. I know you could sneakily drink them in a park or something, but I’m just curious if there’s any way to do it that’s legal.

It’s called “droit de bouchon” in France, meaning “cork right”. Very old practice, commonly used by professionals

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

Extremely concerning shit

Mubelotix ,
@Mubelotix@jlai.lu avatar

I do not respect your belief but I do respect you believing it. French law is very clear about the distinction

It doesn’t matter until you get some power and use it to make your ideas prevail
