The main problem is that VLC's minimum SDK is still targeting Android 4.2, this is an issue with a ton of apps (games specially), which basically renders them incompatible/buggy with modern Android versions.

Being honest here, all app developers should target Android 8 as their minimum nowadays, as anything below that can't even browse the web anymore.

There are alternatives all over the web.

Update: I meant for personal use. I know that workplaces force us to use the same tools (and same versions of said tools) that they use.

Well, i’ve been exited with almost every new Windows release (i was born in 2000).

And i also like whenever companies improve upon their infrastructure and quality of service to better compete with their adversaries (as opposed to “haha my service is cheaper/more localized”).

Small update: I just remembered Android 14 is supposed to have H.265 hardware decoding built-in as a requirement, i’m really exited about that one. 😁

I didn’t think the savings matched what was advertised, so I removed an item to see what the difference was (making sure to screenshot before/after this time). Some personality problems, like abandonment issues or low IQ, I think of as due to genetics or adverse childhood events not the fault of the person…other traits like being a person who litters or being greedy I think of as personal failings - my questions is where would you put attention seeking behaviors like being super...

Do you drink the cereal-flavored milk straight from the bowl? I grew up doing this because my parents taught me how good that milk tastes. As I’ve gotten older, I feel a little self-conscious about doing it in public. It’s not something I notice other non-children doing....
