Stuttering and freezing on single player since 2.19 update on pS5
Happened three times in less than an hour gameplay, before 2.19 I’ve never encountered this? I’m new to GoT and on Act III. Anyone else who’s playing SP notice this or is it just me?
First Post
Quick Fix: play the game in offline mode (turn off WiFi in settings). Stopped the stutters entirely. It’s doing that because it keeps trying to connect to the online servers
Just look at all the people getting frustrated at being told “you should probably do it a different way.” They really don’t understand that just because they’re asking the question, it’s not all about them.
I don't agree. I remember having a problem (something with PDF and JS if I remember correctly) and I had some restrictions (no I could not do anything about those restrictions). Someone on SO had asked my question with somewhat the same restrictions, which boiled downed to no being able to utilize the most common solution. The first answer on SO was to use the solution that specifically could not be used.
I can see your point and I actually somewhat agree but when the answers are "do X" to the question "how do I do this when I cannot do X?", the audience should be the minority going there because they have a niece problem, not the majority that are lead there by search engines. And all the "do X" answers should be removed, or moved somewhere they are relevant.

I read the article and I read the comments. Is there something I am missing here? I thought they were discussing OpenAI gathering data on it's users (those using ChatGPT) and not giving that data back. Based on the comments, the article is upset that OpenAI can give back data that ChatGPT was trained on.
Does the second case fall under GDPR? Could not OpenAI just claim that they removed any information that makes it identifiable and call is a day?

The last point is probably biggest point today. A hacker wants your money, and you as an individual do not have that much money. A company on the other hand, they can pay up big.
Since a lot of companies use Windows, they target that, because that is where the money is.

I know Java and I am learning C#, I don’t feel like I can just send a few hours and be at the same level as I am with Java. There are a lot of things I do not know or understand yet with C#.
If function does not return Result and returns just value directly, you (as a function caller) are guaranteed to always get a value, you can rely on there not being a failure that the function didn’t handle internally.
The difference being where you handle the error?
It sounds to me like Java works in kinda the same way. You either use throws Exception and require the caller to handle the exception when it occurs, or you handle it yourself and return whatever makes sense when that happens (or whatever you want to do before you do a return). The main difference being how the error is delivered.
If I read lsblk correctly, I am using ext4 for my whole drive. I have used linux for some years now, but I never bothered to learn more than “next next next done” when installing my OS.
Does BTRFS popOS allow BTRFS? Should I bother for a daily driver?
Started using Debian because I only used it for servers to begin with. Learned APT and never dared to learn anything else. So now I just stick with any distro using APT and a DE I like.
PopOS is great! I have used a few other (but never strayed far from APT), and I also did some light reading when doing my final decision . PopOS was the best fit for and easy-to-use OS without Snaps. Linux is great and all with how much control you have, but I want as little maintenance as possible for my daily driver.
Only have one HDD and using a laptop, ext4 has been working well enough so far. I only wonder if there is something else I should use for my home drive for better disaster recovery.
The designer of this layout look at the display, saw that the volume slider was going left/right and placed the buttons accordingly (probably what happened).
That is what I imagined as well. Some QA or tester or whatnot probably found it annoying to click left/right when navigating the radio. It does make some sense.
