    I mean there is « lady » (physically speaking) who have enough power to brake average men in half without breaking a sweet.

    At various points we revisited our old idea for networked publishing in Ghost and tested a few prototypes, but we were never sure how to make it scale; nor how many other platforms would ultimately adopt it. For all its promise, ActivityPub (like many open standards) seemed to generate products with user experiences that were often confusing and convoluted. But something else happened in the intervening period between 2016 and 2024: People became increasingly fed up with the behavior of centralized platforms, and increasingly hungry for alternatives. The motivation for exploring and understanding new technologies, rough edges included, meaningfully increased. In 2024, for the first time, it finally feels like we have a critical mass of people and platforms who are interested in rewilding the internet to bring back what we lost, and create something new. In the past week alone, we've had conversations with Mastodon, Flipboard, The Verge, Buttondown, WriteFreely, and several co-authors of the ActivityPub spec.     If Apple integrates AI technology from OpenAI or Google, it could pose a privacy nightmare. I truly hope Apple includes simple toggle options to disable these AI features. I don't want OpenAI accessing my personal data; they are not trustworthy. I want a simple phone that does calls, texts, and a few apps. I have zero use for shity openai llm. I don’t wish to have AI on my phone. Please keep these fancy features as an option. Please don’t force them like Microsoft.

    @nixCraft Even simpler ask a AI to make a picture of aqua-man, and with some good prompting you have it, how can the AI know what is even aqua-man if you don't feed it with ... aqua-man copyrighted material ?

    Even as a human, to know what is aquaman someone had to read (see) it and explain it (making it a derivative from a copyright material (protected by copyright).

    So even if you simply explain it to the AI it remain Copyright violation.

    Step 0. Get fed up with Windows 10/11 with all forced fed stuff like Ads and LLM in start menu.

    Step 1. Install Ubuntu

    Step 2. I learned Docker and cool stuff and wondered why I used an abomination called WSL. This is the real deal.

    Step 3. Get into VIM. Watch some cool videos, and ditch the last spyware called VSCode.

    Step 4: Learn about NixOS and switch to use because all cool kids like it.
