I would say that our assessment of your stability comes from you dumping a bunch of baggage on internet strangers in a double checks - yep mildly interesting comm post. Seems like you’ve gone though a lot of shit in your life, and idk maybe you’re not neurotypical, but you need to slow the confession time down. All I came in this post with was the “mildly interesting” fact that your kid refused your wii. I thought the DNA comment in the body of the post was a joke. Now I’m waist deep in a telanovela that I did not tune in to. Use some discretion, or tell the whole story but maybe not here.
And your posts continue to convince me that you’re unstable. I’m not sure if you know, but this is a light-hearted community and you’re up in here fighting people. It’s weird, and if you don’t believe me then check the downvotes. I’m not trying to be confrontational, I’m trying to clue you in to what’s going on.
I thought it was worth the praise - well thought out, well written, and something that never occurred to me before. Maybe this is the wrong comm or maybe others thought it wasn’t.
The nuance is that if they built the homeless shelters that are needed, there wouldn’t be “needles in the park and angry homeless people shouting” problems as the article states, because they wouldn’t be in the park where kids play. I get that you’re saying “some people don’t understand what it’s like to live with the burden, danger, and discomfort of homeless people,” but there is no argument for these bans that will ever be just imo.
If it’s like the Midwest, I’m sure there’s a fucking empty ass mall or warehouse or dealership somewhere they can turn into a homeless shelter if one fucking capitalist would just hand it over to the public instead of holding on to it to owe less taxes.

3d GM chess move when all the players thought they were playing regular chess. ♟️ Hey, you don’t know what part 3(/?) will be like. Sounds like you’re in for a wild ride!
So cool that they both got to connect on probably the worst day of their lives so far. And that his costume and his stepping out of his comfort zone let that happen.
There’s definitely an argument to be made that the mutants should have the right to live their lives. I guess it depends on how much you think “violence” and “by any means necessary” are justified.
To bring a real world example into the conversation, the Palestinians decided that violence was necessary. Some condemn them for it, some ask “what other choice did they have?”
Obviously, the sympathizers will see you as the hero, and the opponents will see you as the villain. Is it better to go onto hiding like Prof. X and his crew or to stand up and fight like Magneto and his? And how much and what kind of collateral damage is acceptable? It’s a war that has been fought for ages in many different places - the battle between the oppressors and the oppressed.
I’ve only been seriously coding for about 2 years (and not full-time as I have another full time job that I’m trying to get out of) and I almost passed 4/5 of the coding tests that I took for one interview (I did pass one, but realized my solution wouldn’t pass all tests - though it did pass the ones given - so I was working to retool it when time ran out). The 5th one was in C++ and I don’t know shit about that syntax. Idk if it was legal, but I have two monitors and used a cheat sheet for the JavaScript and C++ one.
I think with your experience, you’ll probably do fine unless you get anxiety from the clock ticking down.
Implying that it was an effort, but you are welcome to it. Whereas “no problem” denotes that the effort is was not a problem for me to do. I use them interchangeably - “you’re welcome” as a response to a complement, or something where there was moderate effort put into the task; “no problem” when the task was low effort (“Thanks for responding to that email so quickly”) or I feel my effort was obliged (helping pick up after a meeting).
Disagree, no problem is saying that what you are thanking me for was not a problem for me to do.
Honestly, I think this perception is the disconnect between millennials thinking it’s better and boomers thinking it’s rude - two different perspectives of what it means.
Strangely enough, I almost never see fidget spinners anymore, and I work with kids. I do keep having to pick cigarette butts off the ground tho (not from the kids).
It depends on how harmful that opinion is. You prefer vanilla ice cream because you like the mild flavor - cool, difference of opinion. You prefer there were no same-sex marriages because your religion is against it - no, that affects other people’s lives so if you want me to respect that opinion you would have to have a good argument.
I was thinking the same thing. I mean, I just did a coding test for a potential job, and I know I did at least as good as, and likely better than this.
edit: just to prove to myself, I went ahead and wrote the program without looking things up. I’m self-taught so I feel pretty proud. It took about 25 mins, and it works!
