Nearly one-in-five tweets are no longer publicly visible on the site just months after being posted. In 60% of these cases, the account that originally posted the tweet was made private, suspended or deleted entirely. In the other 40%, the account holder deleted the individual tweet, but the account itself still existed.

The only way that neighborhoods can protect themselves from gentrification is through community land trusts. These are horribly complex to setup and require the purchase of property which is very time consuming. The communities that need CLTs the most are the least likely to have the resources to form one.

I just installed gnome on my laptop because they kept spamming the copilot shit.

I use my os to get started on what im doing, not fuck around with all the repeating notifications that can’t be disabled.

no major issues so far on fedora 40 beta.

gnome 46 is looking very nice and gnome 47 even more better on gnome os. fedora gave me secure boot.

i gave kde neon a spin and loved it too. i’m hunting for the best touchscreen support.

oh, they’ll check my coat now? every time i ask they say it’s for bags.

wearing the coat for an 8 hour flight works if you’re staying in the same climate but I travel longitudily a lot.

Coats take space in the overhead whether they’re in a bag or not.

If you don’t need your coat to board the plane then you’re lucky.

None of the airlines have a rule about coats in the overhead so you’re fighting on a hill that doesn’t even exist.
