Maybe, the ideia is to force everyone to use the site/app, like Twitter an Reddit did.

But it’s Google going after Newpipe, if it did back then it could do it again in other way

Kodi: A standalone multimedia player, it plays contents stored locally or on the network (SMB, NFS)

Plex/Jellyfin: Multimedia server, it shares local content over network/internet to multiple users.

Stremio: Plays content from online sources (torrent, HTTP)

American_Jesus OP ,

I tried to keep things simple, however I use Kodi mainly with PlexMod addon.

Plex official apps have many issues with audio and subtitles, Kodi plays (almost) everything and better options for audio/subtitles

The only problem, Kodi isn’t available on AppStore for TVOS.

And sideload apps isn’t that simple

I figured out how to make IPTV as easy as using Netflix so you dont have to ( lemmy.myserv.one )

Disclaimer: Obviously this is for educational purposes only. I would personally never use my internet connection for anything illegal at all. I simply tested the below setup then deleted everything out of pure interest to understand how things worked and do not use any IPTV service. I love paying Netflix and other streaming...

Those apps are only for Apple TV.

On Android TV, Tivimate or OTT Navigator are good choices.

But that depends on user preferences, there’s dozens of apps to choose

Also not Mihon repository, that repository existed before Mihon was created.
Is an extension repository for Tachiyomi forks, not only Mihon.

You can get the rss of new releases with rss, and use rss plugin for Gotify

make GOTIFY_VERSION=“v2.0.5” FILE_SUFFIX=“for-gotify-v2.0.5” build

Use the gotify version according to the one installed on your system.
EX: make GOTIFY_VERSION=“v2.4.0” FILE_SUFFIX=“for-gotify-v2.4.0” build
for the latest release

the on build/you should have some .so files, copy the one for your machine arch to gotify plugins dir data/plugins

where a build for gotify v2.4.0 nowtransfer.de/3460c8e86670
copy only the one needed

Assuming you are on a Debian/Ubuntu based distro, make sure you have the following packages installed build-essential golang

Places to watch UK tv

Some shows in UK are free to watch but you need to create an account in their webpage and you usually need a physical address (plus they have ads but maybe those I can skip). I don’t live in the UK, so I’m unsure how to watch those shows. Torrents are extremely hard to find, even more of good quality. Does someone have some...

Darkflix group releases many TV shows regularly with good quality. predb.me/?search=Darkflix

For live TV you can find some channels on www.daddylivehd.life/24-7-channels/

Or use IPTV-ORG playlist, with the VPN you can watch the geo-blocked channels

I'm looking for a TOS-breaking telegram client that strips out all the premium shit

Hello fellow pirates! I’m tired of having all the telegram premium ads and antifeatures in the client and I’m looking for a client that removed them even if it’s against the TOS. Any tips? I’d rather use an actual open source fork than a cracked version of the original...

American_Jesus ,
@American_Jesus@lemm.ee avatar

You don’t get banned for using a fork.

Telegram API is open, you can use any client you want, even CURL

American_Jesus ,
@American_Jesus@lemm.ee avatar

Um using for years, Telegram-FOSS, Nekogram, Forkgram, um both phone and desktop, never get any warning.

If anyone got banned, probably violation of TOS

Also the clients are opensource and available on GitHub

Can I stream live TV on VLC?

Hello! I know this is probably not piracy, but I think that this community is the best one to ask this. I’d like to stream live TV on my jellyfin server, and in the future perhaps try to implement a way to silence the audio during ads, but I want to start a step at a time: Before going in jellyfin, let’s try with VLC that is...

Best use of android tablet

I’m getting an android tablet soon (will be a present and a little birdie told it to me). Nothing fancy, just some mid-range 10 inch one with basic features. I’m planning to mainly use it for comic books, but while I’m at it might as well watch movies on it....

XMLTV providers

Are there any good websites that host xmltv info that I can just point my addon to? For context I’m using simple iptv with kodi to stream from my tuner card, through nextpvr, to other tvs in my house via the m3u nextpvr generates. I can see utils to create one but was going for just a web address and have been unable to find...

American_Jesus , (edited )
@American_Jesus@lemm.ee avatar

If you want to use NextPVR with Kodi, you should use the proper addon instead, no need for simple m3u and external EPG sources.

If you want to host a generated file, you don’t need anything especial, you can use Dropbox and use the direct download URL

kotatsu.app/manuals/faq/general/-i-restore-my…

Can I restore my Tachiyomi backup to Kotatsu?

No, you can’t. This is due to the difficulty in supporting and adapting the .proto.gz or .tachibk format that Tachiyomi uses. Also Kotatsu and Tachiyomi and its forks have different data structures that they use. For Neko for MangaDex users we recommend to use Nekotatsu.
