With the latest version of Firefox for U.S. desktop users, we’re introducing a new way to measure search activity broken down into high level categories. This measure is not linked with specific individuals and is further anonymized using a technology called OHTTP to ensure it can’t be connected with user IP addresses....
This also stood out to me, but then I remembered this weird question asking how people are using Firefox for shopping. At least based on that thread it seems FF management have disappointing and unnecessary future plans similar to Pocket acquisition.

Seems like this is a feature on newest Jellyfin Media Player (1.10.0) and not server itself, but you now have clickable tag and studio properties. Not sure if you could already search for let's say "New Line Cinema", but now you can intuitively filter by these values just by clicking. Great addition.
This functionality appears only in Media Player and not web browser, that's my reasoning why this does not seem like server side feature. That said Media Player I believe is using same web interface underneath so not exactly sure how it works and why this is not a feature in web browser.
Have never used it, but doesn't it download the whole article? So if source becomes unavailable, you still get an archived copy similar to other services like archive.org.
What if you would have 2 devices of same type with same OS or just with OS that starts with same letter? Will you use numbers, if yes, how much leading zeroes if any you will use? If you don't use numbers, will you add a room name? But what if there are 2 devices with same OS in the same room?
I almost dumped Firefox on Android for Chromium based one due to this reason before realising the culprit, many sites were super sluggish and FF often lost cache when I changed between apps.
I am now just using the built in setting, many sites have native dark mode and the ones that don't - I realised it does not bother me too much.
All that depends on developer. Majority of my used Windows software is portable stored in folder that’s synced with Dropbox. All settings are then usually stored in the same folder so I can easily copy SW over to another machine without loosing any configuration / history.
Some of those programs still do not store settings in same folder, you can often simply export settings from GUI.
Pretty sure I have seen a prompt suggesting switching to MS account before and MS already hides local account creation during setup.
It’s not like local accounts will disappear unless there will be an actual redesign of whole OS which is very unlikely since then you loose all the backwards compatibility.
2 years is insane for what seems like a harmless prank though. It′s maybe an issue with how law is defined, similar to stories when you become a sex offender by doing public urination. Perhaps those 2 drill holes are similar to ″unrepairable damage to historic object″.

Looks more like a bug than performance problem. Anyways start menu search has felt worse ever since Windows 8. For the most part it works, but occasionally you get random issues like these.
Things like PowerToys Run offer a much better search experience.
HeliBoard keyboard is an improved fork of the now-unmaintained OpenBoard keyboard. It does not require internet permission, allowing it to be used 100% offline....
Tried it out and it has decent customization although Multiling O still provides more options. That said I think I will give it a shot and maybe finally move to Samsung keyboard since its dictionary and swipe are much better, plus it has some cool features like underlined spelling mistakes, emoji search and translate straight from keyboard.
Edit: Think I have found a deal breaker. My language has diacritics so I need a modifier key to quickly type without holding a key and choosing letter from pop up. There is an option using ALT as modifier, but when it is enabled, keyboard layout is not the standard one where you get like a V shape, second row keys are right under first row and it throws off my typing.
Seems weird to be honest. I would agree on removing personal Teams from new Windows installations, but if you are locked in Microsoft 365 environment it is very unlikely you will not use Teams due to how well it integrates with whole ecosystem.
It’s almost as asking to unbundle Outlook because Thunderbird exists.

Passkeys are an easy and secure alternative to traditional passwords that can help prevent phishing attacks and make your online experience smoother and safer....
Only for a test, I do not see myself switching to passkeys any time soon, using KeePass is fine in my use case. If there would be some site for which I would need to authenticate every day I would probably create a passkey on device itself (Windows Hello or Google Password manager) since authentication speed increase is undeniable.
Only authentication method changes, there should be no difference after you sign-in, how long sign-in is kept still depends on site owner.
There are various sites to test authentication experience, here’s one where you can test it with dummy account and no registration webauthn.io. It is pretty cool, but you need to create a passkey for every site on all devices to fully utilize their potential.

I do not see where the violation can be if all this data sharing / selling has been explained by reddit and only info that is shared are your posts and comments, not your mail address or IP address.
Why would you even consider that platform where you publicly post things would not be able to do something with that info. Anyone being able to read this comment is also a violation?
What do you mean. Autopilot is an enterprise feature. If you bypass Autopilot you are either circumventing your organization’s policy or you bought a computer that was not removed from org properly.
It is, specifically MS Edge WebView. For example new MS Teams and new Outlook client are using WebView. Widgets are using it as well as do many other things.
This uninstall will most likely still keep Edge present, it will just be somehow hidden / not as easily accessible.
Are we talking about this feature? If yes, you must simply ask company / school in which that computer is assigned to to remove it from their Autopilot list.
Oppossed to me who somehow forgot Copilot is a thing :) Should have realized that.
I have it simply disabled in settings so it does not show up. Maybe it is not completely disabled and some parts of it are still running amd would need to apply policy to disable it, but can’t say it bothers me much.
Sounds like a weird behavior, are you using Microsoft account for sign-in? Maybe that somehow triggers enabling sync back. Switch to local account if you do not want any benefits MS account gives.
Maybe I never learned how to properly use grouping in Vivaldi, but I concluded that Simple tab groups extension is better for my use case. In Vivaldi it seemed too simple to accidentally open new tab in another group. With STG extension I am always locked in 1 group and do not even see tabs from other groups.
