One of the interesting things about being friends w/ autistics is we're usually not going to tell you everything is gonna be ok if there isn't a good chance of that outcome (it feels like lying?).
So pretty please tell us if you want that because it's not what we usually want...and therefore doesn't occur to us.
Neither way is wrong depending on who you're interacting with. Just different 🙃
