I have been using Eternity mainly because I can swipe between posts in post view. But the development seems to have stopped/slowed down....

Solution was quite easy. Thanks to the user reply here: beehaw.org/comment/3535588 or programming.dev/comment/10034690 (Not sure if the links actually work as expected...)...
After years of my desktop environment (kde) being configured the same way, I tried enabling auto-hiding in my panel and I quite like the extra screen estate....
So, I want to add some files to a hidden directory, the only issue is I can't see the directory....

After reading a non-fiction book, do you beat yourself up over not remembering all that much? This is especially painful if the book took years to complete (e.g. Anne Applebaum's "Gulag")....
The first one, "Space Babies" was alright, but felt too childish. "The Devils Chord" didn't hit for me because they just didn't have the budget for really being able to explore a higher level being of such power....

I'm trying to make my own window sills in our new house. We have windows rather deep so depth is around 9in and wide - 42/60in. I'm looking at read oak vs douglas fir. Red oak is mainly available in sub 8in cuts. The only one I found in 9in is 3/4 thick. Would that be sufficient to support plant pots or potentially human sitting...
