Yeah, it feels like in the side by side the actual sun is maybe in a different spot, so it looks more jarringly different than it could. Mostly I just want better handling of low light/mood light - as it is right now, I feel like low light makes characters look unintentionally spooky unless you've manually turned character lighting way up

Overall I'm pretty pumped for the changes, as far as I currently understand them! I main DRK and I think I like the concept of combining Blood Weapon and Delirium, which seemed like the biggest change for the job. I also generally like the idea of combining actions and follow-ups into one button - as a controller user it's more comfy, but also it makes room for more skills (especially weavables) in future expansions.
In terms of non-main jobs:
glad they didn't do anything crazy to RDM or reaper - both already feel great to play
excited about this WHM mobility skill!
as someone who has only dipped their toes into monk, I'm optimistic about the updates! I think being able to check a gauge will be easier on my brain than the current setup. Mostly I hope veterans won't hate it now, but if it gets me to play the job then I'll be happy (love my monk glam, haha)
I'm biased because I chat a lot with the developers, but I'd highly recommend Thunder - very sleek, very customizable, VERY nice compact mode, and a very welcoming group of people. If you try it and feel like something big is missing, they're quite responsive on github! Been quite impressed with the leaps they've made with features on every release.
Give it a shot! Definitely check the settings if you do, the tweakability is fairly expensive - and if anything feels missing let the team know on GitHub!
"dismiss read" is an option you can add to the FAB, and mark as read on scroll looks to be a setting now as well! Haven't used either, but hope they meet your expectations :)
Might be a misinformed take, but I always saw these as making fun of the original/the artist, not enshrining it. The webcomic as a whole was so-so and fairly innocuous at the time, but Loss represented such an incredibly cruel and tone-deaf shift that it legitimately upset/bewildered a lot of people.
I couldn't say with confidence why people continue to reference it, but maybe helpful as context?
This won’t change your mobile experience, but on desktop this makes Firefox absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been using it for at least a year now and it still blows me away every time I happen to see the stock UI.
