"By now it’s been made fairly clear that the bedazzling wonderment that is “AI” doesn’t come cheap. Story after story have highlighted how the technology consumes massive amounts of electricity and water, and we’re not really adapting to keep pace. This is also occurring alongside a destabilizing climate crisis that’s already putting a capacity and financial strain on aging electrical infrastructure."
@w7voa For all the hard of thinking around the world. Being against apartheid and the Zionist state of Israel isn’t antisemitic. Netanyahu wants it to be, but he’s got a foul agenda.
Here's the latest Israeli excuse to continue the war against innocent civilians in Rafah:
"Israeli officials claim the Biden administration knew about the latest hostage and ceasefire deal proposal Egypt and Qatar negotiated with Hamas, but didn't brief Israel before Hamas announced it accepted it on Monday."
A senior U.S. official pushed back saying "American diplomats have been engaged with Israeli counterparts. There have been no surprises."
@streetartutopia I’m lucky enough to have spent May Day in a few European countries. The U.K. is by far the worst. We have it on the nearest Monday do as to not upset the ‘working week’. Ergo it’s bloody meaningless here. The first time I really noticed the difference was in Spain a good few years ago. I’d been going to the same area for a while. Like the Windmill, they never closed. What a surprise we got when just about everything was closed! THAT’S how you celebrate May Day!
