Never ceases to amaze me how early they mastered oils. Are you familiar with Fayyum mummy portraits, it’s encaustic wax on wood, but the some look very modern.

Oh no, I work in a cinema, as an usher etc. it’s a bit mainstream and a bit art house. I hear you about industry stateside, lots of multiplexes closing

Cut the pad off my index finger chopping slippery tomatoes with 2 days no sleep, during busy hour at work. It looks normal now but no sensation :(
