It's still corporate social media with investors that (eventually) want to make money..
I see very little chance that it won't turn to shit eventually.
@Doomed_Daniel I think the difference now is he's quit the board.
From what I was able to gather from the comments, though, it seems he quit due to being harassed for his obviously awful posts, rather than for any principled reason.
This time seems as though he just doesn't agree with the direction of BlueSky because it's moving away from his idea of paradise, the insane libertarian wasteland where nobody gets moderated.
@Doomed_Daniel For sure, but I would plan on staying on both networks, and maybe when it inevitably folds, we could get even more people on the fediverse.
