My mother in law died maybe five years ago but to this day I think about how she insisted (after she had just learned how to text people) that LOL meant “lots of love” so I’m explaining how it’s kind of the opposite, and asked her to show me the last person she texted it to and it was her friend saying her husband just passed away.
