Anyone can help me? I wasn’t able to find any solution for this. The controller works via USB-C just fine but I only have a very short cable, I borrowed the controller from a friend to try it and don’t have the original cable but I was intending to play via Bluetooth anyways....

The reason keeping me from switching over to Linux is because I have a low end laptop GPU (AMD R5 M300 series) and every drop of OC is vital to me, I used MSI Afterburner on Windows and I don’t know what to use on linux that actually work and user friendly if possible

I can’t get my DualShock 4 controllers to work on Arch without ds4drv. I am pretty sure this method isn’t required anymore, because the dualshock 4 work just fine on NixOS. What am I missing? Ryzen 7840HS stability issues?
I've got a new 7840HS laptop, and have noticed some stability issues with games on Steam under Proton that run fine on my desktop with a 5700xt. I know the 7840 line is pretty new and not a lot out in the world yet, but has anyone noticed similar issues?
My Experience Switching From NVIDIA To AMD ( lemmy.world )
TLDR: From my experience, in 2023, the Mesa drivers with an AMD GPU provide an experience that is way better than NVIDIA with their proprietary drivers. And if you’re helping a friend get into linux, and or linux gaming I think you should steer them towards an AMD GPU....

Does anyone here have experience with gaming on immutable distros like Fedora Silverblue, Fedora Kinote, OpenSUSE MicroOS or any other general desktop variants? I know SteamOS 3 and ChimeraOS are both immutable, but they come with all kernel mods and libraries baked in....
